    Accessibility Statement

    Last updated: August 1, 2026

    01Our Commitment

Astrixy is committed to making the platform usable by everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is treated as a product requirement, not a remediation task.

    02Conformance Status

We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The merchant dashboard and public marketing pages are partially conformant: most of the product meets the standard, and the exceptions are listed below. "Partially conformant" is the honest description while some third-party embeds and complex data visualisations remain outstanding — we would rather state that than claim full conformance.

Automated accessibility checks run against key flows in our continuous integration pipeline on every merge, and violations block deployment for the covered routes.

    03Features We Ship

    • Semantic HTML landmarks, a single H1 per page, and a logical heading hierarchy.
    • Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
    • Skip-to-content links and focus trapping in dialogs, with focus restored on close.
    • ARIA labelling on icon-only controls, live regions for toasts and status announcements.
    • Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI boundaries, in both light and dark themes.
    • A dedicated high-contrast mode, independent of the OS setting.
    • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion, plus an in-app motion preference that disables parallax, autoplay, and decorative animation.
    • Form fields with programmatically associated labels, descriptive error messages, and error summaries.
    • Alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images marked as such.
    • Layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 px and remain usable at 200% zoom.

    04Known Limitations

    • Analytics charts. Some data visualisations do not yet expose a full accessible data table. A tabular export is available as an interim alternative.
    • Third-party checkout frames. Payment provider iframes are outside our control; we track their published conformance and route around known problems where possible.
    • Merchant-authored storefronts. Themes and copy written by merchants may not meet AA. Our templates ship accessible by default, but customisation can regress that.
    • Legacy admin tooling. A small number of internal-only screens are pending remediation.

These items are on the roadmap and re-assessed each quarter.

    05Assistive Technology Tested

We test with NVDA and Firefox on Windows, VoiceOver and Safari on macOS and iOS, TalkBack and Chrome on Android, and keyboard-only navigation in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Testing combines automated tooling with manual passes on the sign-up, store creation, checkout, and settings flows.

    06Reporting a Barrier

If you encounter something you cannot use, email accessibility@astrixy.app with the page URL, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using. We acknowledge within two business days and aim to resolve or provide a workaround within fifteen.

    07Formal Complaints

If our response is unsatisfactory, escalate to legal@astrixy.app. Users in the EU may also contact their national enforcement body under the European Accessibility Act; users in the United States may pursue remedies under the ADA and Section 508 where applicable.
