01Our Position
Astrixy LLC has zero tolerance for modern slavery, forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, and human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain. This statement sets out the steps we take to identify and reduce that risk. It is published voluntarily, in the spirit of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018, and is reviewed annually.
02Our Business and Structure
Astrixy is a software company. We operate a multi-tenant commerce platform used by merchants worldwide. We do not manufacture goods, hold inventory, or employ factory labour. Our direct workforce is small and professional, and our direct procurement consists almost entirely of cloud infrastructure, software licences, and professional services — categories with a comparatively low inherent risk of forced labour.
03Where the Risk Actually Sits
We are candid about this: the meaningful risk in our ecosystem is not in our own operations but in the physical goods our merchants source, particularly consumer products manufactured in regions where labour protections are weakly enforced. Because Astrixy facilitates dropshipping and supplier integrations, we accept a responsibility to reduce that risk even though we are not the importer of record.
Higher-risk categories we monitor include apparel and textiles, electronics assembly and components, mined minerals used in jewellery and devices, and low-cost promotional goods.
04Due Diligence Measures
- Supplier integrations are limited to partners who publish a labour and ethical sourcing policy and accept contractual commitments prohibiting forced and child labour.
- Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits the sale of goods produced with forced labour and the sale of human beings, services, or data in any form.
- Catalogue listings flagged by automated screening or by a report are reviewed manually, and sourcing evidence is requested from the merchant.
- We maintain the ability to disable a supplier integration or delist a product category platform-wide where credible evidence of forced labour emerges.
- Vendor onboarding for our own procurement includes a sanctions and adverse-media check.
05Our Own Workforce
Everyone working for Astrixy does so voluntarily, under a written agreement, with the right to terminate on notice. We never hold identity documents, never charge recruitment fees, and pay at or above the applicable local minimum. Contractors are engaged directly or through reputable platforms with their own labour standards.
06Merchant Obligations
Merchants using Astrixy are required to comply with the modern slavery, import, and customs laws applicable to their business, including the US Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act where they import into the United States. Merchants must be able to identify their suppliers on request. Failure to do so when a credible concern is raised is grounds for suspension.
07Training and Awareness
Staff involved in supplier integrations, compliance, and merchant review receive briefing material on identifying forced labour indicators and on the escalation path. Guidance is refreshed when the risk picture changes.
08Reporting a Concern
Report suspected forced labour, trafficking, or child labour anywhere in our ecosystem to ethics@astrixy.app. Reports may be made anonymously. We do not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith, and we escalate credible reports to the appropriate authorities.
09Approval
This statement is approved by the management of Astrixy LLC and signed by MD Akbor Khan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. It will be reviewed and republished annually.
